Ingplan's mechanical engineering team delivers energy-efficient, code-compliant HVAC and mechanical services solutions across a broad range of building types and industries. Design is conducted in strict accordance with SANS 10400-XA, ASHRAE, and applicable local authority requirements — from concept through commissioning and post-completion support.

All thermal analysis, building energy modelling, and systems evaluation is performed using industry-leading simulation software including Carrier HAP, BSIMAC 9, and DesignBuilder. Coordinated drawings are produced in Autodesk Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD.

Design & Delivery Approach

Ingplan assumes full design responsibility for all mechanical works. Coordinated tender drawings are produced using Autodesk Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD, enabling cost optimisation and design validation prior to issue for construction. Subcontractors install directly from Ingplan’s approved drawings — no contractor re-drawing is permitted.

An experienced commissioning engineer verifies, checks, and tests all plant and equipment prior to practical completion and formal acceptance. During the 12-month defects liability period, performance is monitored via service reports submitted by the subcontractor.
