Ingplan provides comprehensive wet services engineering for commercial, retail, industrial, and residential developments — from conceptual design through to commissioning and post-completion support. Services are delivered in full compliance with SANS 10400, the National Building Regulations, and applicable local authority requirements.
Ingplan assumes full design responsibility for all wet services works. Coordinated drawings are produced in Autodesk Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD, enabling full coordination with structural, architectural, and other engineering disciplines. Subcontractors install directly from Ingplan’s approved drawings — no contractor re-drawing is permitted.
An experienced commissioning engineer verifies, checks, and tests all installations prior to practical completion and formal acceptance. During the 12-month defects liability period, performance is monitored via service reports submitted by the subcontractor.
Ingplan’s wet services team has delivered plumbing and hydraulic engineering across all major development types:
Notable wet services projects include Hatfield Square (R75M, Student Accommodation & Retail), The Podium — Growthpoint (R18M, Student Housing), Blackwood Student Housing — Eris (R15.5M), Fountain Studios — Growthpoint (R13.5M), Brooklyn Development — Uniqon (R23M, Apartments), Mbombela Square (R40M, 4 Green Star Office V1 Rating), Dingleton Settlement Project — Kumba Iron Ore (R10M), and Second Circle Hotel — Crystal Homes (USD 5.0M, Ghana).
Wet services design is typically delivered alongside Mechanical Engineering (HVAC) and Fire Engineering — Ingplan’s fully integrated multi-disciplinary approach ensures complete coordination across all building services disciplines from a single engineering practice.
All designs are prepared in accordance with the relevant SANS codes, including SANS 10252, SANS 10254, and SANS 10400. Ingplan’s Wet Services engineering integrates closely with architectural, mechanical, and fire protection systems to ensure a fully coordinated service offering.
